Oct 18, 2017 was my birthday and we were on a family vacation/roadtrip from Vietnam to Cambodia when my husband, Rey, collapsed due to dengue.
In a foreign land, with no relative or friends, and my husband burning with fever and with platelet count dropping, where can we get help? And so we prayed; “Lord we do not want to put a limit to what you can do for us…please help us!”
The minute news reached our community here in the Philippines, prayers, and blessings started to come in. Even with the challenged internet connection, we tried to get constant updates back and forth. And as Rey’s platelet dipped to a low 22, hopes in prayer that he will recover skyrocketed to heaven.
The Lord heard our prayers. Rey was discharged after 4 days of confinement, and our bills (in US dollars) were settled. The total donation we received was enough to cover our hospital bill and plane fare up to the last thousand!
God is truly amazing! His love is BEYOND LIMIT and His blessings BEYOND BOUNDARIES!!
