When Familia Batangas was assigned to host the Familia Community 24th Anniversary, the team prayed for one year for a venue, increase in membership for manpower, logistics (finance & donations), good weather, and a sub-theme.
1. Venue was reserved with the Rector of Padre Pio Shrine in case it gets completed. There was no structure yet, 9 months before the Familia anniversary.
2. Membership increased as they conducted simultaneous ECLS whole year-round. God sent members as laborers in the vineyard.
3. Logistics – despite having less members, small budget, the Lord showed He is divine provider of all.
4. Weather- The team prayed for good weather doing the Jericho walk for 7 days prior to anniversary expecting 5000 attendees for a venue with 1000 seating capacity. It rained but all were covered and stayed dry.
5. Be blessed, be healed, be fruitful – the sub theme was drummed up with 40 days daily reflection leading to the anniversary celebration provided as a guide that led us all to savor the blessings, sharings, take home experience of our 24th anniversary.
All these were a great jump off point to the next milestone, the 25th Anniversary of Familia Community.
