The Baguio Bus Incident

Written by Familia Community

Familia had just concluded a very blessed and successful anniversary at Club John Hay in Baguio and most of us were already starting to head home when news came via text messages and calls that the bus with our members from Taguig had lost control and smashed on the mountainside.

Thank God there were no casualties.  The tragedy turned out to be an opportunity for help, blessings, prayers and moral support to pour out for the brothers and sisters.  Hospitalization and treatment expenses both in Baguio and in Rizal Medical were minimized as donations, pledges and offers of many kinds continued.   It was an assurance of God’s hand and presence in rough & tough times!
